Sikh organisation held protest to arrest of Sakshi Bhardwaj within 72 hrs

Supreme Sikh Organisation on Monday held a protest and submitted a memorandum to Divisional Commissioner Jammu requesting him to instruct the concerned to constitute Special Investigating Team of Police to expedite the arrest of Sakshi Bhardwaj, a video-girl who is spewing venom and using abusive language against the Sikh community especially the youth, and put her behind bars within 72 hours.

Speaking on the occasion, Organisation President Gurmeet Singh said, “FIR No 141/2017 was registered in Police Station Gandhi Nagar and another FIR No 393/2017 at District Udhampur but till date police have failed to trace the accused.”

“After lapse of more than two weeks there is no visible progress in this case and while floating all legal norms the accused Sakshi Bhardwaj again uploaded another videos making fun of J&K Police and Sikhs saying that she is above law and no one can arrest and also that Delhi Police is helping her in evading arrest,” he said.

He added that Akal Takht Sahib Shree Harmandir Sahib Amritsar, has also taken cognisance of this serious matter and has condemned the administration and warned that if no action is taken in this matter then all Sikh community will be on roads and there will be protests.
